Joshua Talbert, PA-C
Joshua Talbert is a Physician Assistant with 25 years of clinical experience. He has worked in many areas of medicine, including urgent care, orthopedic surgery, family medicine, emergency medicine, nephrology and internal medicine. Josh has always made it his top priority to develop strong relationships with his patients and be accessible to all. He is known for his gift of gab.
Josh was born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley. He started his love for medicine at a young age while attending South Texas High School for Health Professions (Med High) in Mercedes, Texas. He went on to study Biology and Chemistry at Tarleton State University. He studied medicine at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas where he also met the love of his life, Janelle Talbert.
Josh and Janelle have been married for 24 years and have three boys, Connor 20, Will 18 and Myles 10. They enjoy traveling as a family, primarily in the mountains and central Florida. They are a Disney family, typically visiting every other year. They never shy away from a road trip for a good barbeque.
Josh has worked for the In and Out Clinic for almost 10 years. He took ownership of the clinic in October of 2024. He hopes to grow its business and continue to serve the Lufkin community providing exceptional and personalized care.
Robert Kistler, MD
Dr Kistler is a Family Medicine Physician with over 30 years of experience. Dr Kistler had a vision in 2014, to start an Urgent Care as a true extension of care for local family physicians. A clinic that provides after-hour and weekend care in a model that would help to keep patients out of the Emergency Rooms.
In and Out Clinic was born out of this vision. Although Dr Kistler sold the clinic in October of 2024, he remains active in the business as the Medical Director as well as the Supervising Physician. He is always available to provide guidance and over 30 years of wisdom.
Dr Kistler attended Baylor University and UTMB School of Medicine. His residency was done at Waco Family Medicine Residency Program in Waco, Texas. Dr Kistler is a member of the American Association of Family Practice. When he is not working, Dr Kistler enjoys Pickleball, golf, and chasing grandkids all over the state.
Tim Risby, RTR
Tim Risby is a certified Radiology Technologist at the In and Out Clinic. He is one of the “OG” employees that was hired to open the clinic on March 3 rd , 2014. Tim graduated from Angelina College with a degree in applied science in 2011. Tim has never met a stranger, and always goes above and beyond to make his patients feel welcome and cared for.
Tim is Married to his wife Hilda and together they help pastor a church. He loves his family and loves to entertain. Tim and his wife enjoy traveling and trying new
adventures. Tim considers himself truly blessed to have worked with such great people.
Carla Martinez, RTR
Carla is a Licensed Radiology Technologist at the In and Out Clinic. Carla graduated from Angelina College in 2021 with an associate degree in applied science. Previous to this, Carla earned a bachelor’s degree from Stephen F Austin University. Carla also works part-time for Woodland Heights Medical Center in Lufkin, TX.
Carla is fluent in both English and Spanish, greatly improving access to care for our patients. She loves getting to know the patients and always keeping an open mind.
Personally, Carla is married with a 3 year old son. She loves spending time with her family and experiencing life as a first time Mom. She also enjoys cooking, drawing, decorating, crafting, shopping, exercise and attending church. She believes that life is journey and that every day is a learning experience.
Alexis McAlister, LVN
Alexis is a dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) who has been in the medical
field for over a decade, with her LVN journey beginning in 2012. With a passion for people and a strong team-oriented mindset, Alexis brings both compassion and collaboration to every setting she works in.
Outside of work, Alexis enjoys music and staying active in the world of sports.
Alexis is another of the In and Out Clinic, OG, employees. She was hired in March of 2014 to help open the in and out clinic. She has remained compassionate about her work and continues to showcase her loyalty, work ethic and versatility.
Gloria Hunt, LVN
Gloria Hunt is a Licensed Vocational Nurse. She has worked at the In and Out Clinic for over 7 years. Gloria also happens to be a licensed Surgical Scrub. Gloria attended Angelina College in 2016, receiving her degree in Surgical Technology. She then decided to return to the nursing program after receiving the Smith-Hutson scholarship. She graduated from Angelina College in 2018 with honors as an LVN.
Gloria is married and has 4 children. She enjoys reading, crocheting and attending
comic conventions with her family. She has an attention to detail and enjoys getting to know her patients.
Latiesha Warren, Medical Receptionist
Latiesha has always been passionate about helping others and children hold a huge piece of her heart. She is married with three adult children and enjoys spending time with her family. She has over 15 years of working with children and began her journey at Angelina College, graduating in 2013 with an Associate in Applied Science, majoring in Child & Family Development. She also received a certificate in Child & Family Development Administration during that time. Latiesha continued her education at SFA, graduating in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science. Upon graduating, she accepted a position as a Case Manager, and after some time she decided it was time for a change.
In 2020, Latiesha was hired at In & Out Clinic as a Medical Receptionist where her passion for working with people continues. She enjoys building professional relationships with patients and providing words of encouragement during their illness. Latiesha looks forward to helping people feel better and empowering staff to provide excellent care to patients.
Janie Thibodeaux, Medical Receptionist
Janie Thibodeaux is a diverse healthcare professional with over 20 years of experience in outpatient medical clinics. Janie has experience is patient concierge, insurance and billing, performing Xray, assisting with medical procedures and medical assisting. She prides herself on being versatile, friendly, dependable and always there to step up to help a patient. Her passion for helping others as well as her long experience in healthcare makes her a true asset to the IN and Out Clinic team.
Janie is the blessed mother of two beautiful daughters and one granddaughter with another on the way. She enjoys spending time with family and friends and never shies away from an adventure. Ultimately, she enjoys the simple things in life.
Cassandra Richardson, Office Manager
Cassandra Richardson is an office management professional with over 26 years of experience. She is also our medical billing specialist. Please feel free to reach out to her concerning any issues. She possesses excellent leadership and organizational skills and ensures the effectiveness of the company’s staff and processes.
Cassandra attended Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. She is a native of Beaumont Tx. and enjoys creative decorating and design. She also enjoys spending time with her 3 wonderful and active grandchildren.
